About Us
We’ve been in business since 1952! Bill, Judy, Brady, and Dave have all lived in Mountain View for over 30 years and have been active in local affairs. As a result, Ludwig & Fawcett and its employees are rooted in the local area and care deeply about the community. In the last 3 years, several of our staff members have begun working remotely in other areas of the state and have been able to dive into those local communities as well. While many of our clients are in Mountain View, Los Altos, Palo Alto, Sunnyvale, San Francisco, and San Jose, we serve all of Northern and Southern California!
Our Story
1952-1979
Our agency’s former president, Bill Fawcett, joined the Ludwig Insurance Agency in Palo Alto, CA in 1969. In these days, Bill would go door to door selling policies.
1980-1983
Bill’s wife, Judy, left her longtime position working for an insurance company and joined L&F and the family business as we know it today began taking shape.
1984-2002
Their sons, joined the business. Brady began working at L&F in 1984 followed by Dave F. in 1994. The insurance industry changed a lot during this time as technological advances made it easier for our agents to compare rates and bind coverage.
2003-2019
We were lucky enough to welcome many great employees into the L&F family. Victoria joined in 2003 followed by Kelly in 2004, Maria in 2010, and Elle in 2015.
2020-now
In 2020, we welcomed Dave V. to the team. Finally, in the same year Bill & Judy’s granddaughter, Molly, graduated college and began working for L&F.
